Happy Thanksgiving to all! I'm thankful for the beer that I'm drinking right now (Frambozen!!), the tunes playing on the stereo (Weezer Blue Album!!), the meal I'm about to eat (mmm, thanksgiving food- vegetarian style!), the holy God that supposedly put me on this earth (big ups God! you're sweet, dude!), the weather right now (no snow! and 53 degrees- "I LOVE 53 degrees"), This Boy's Life for being such an interesting and perfect read, my friends and family that I haven't seen in at least 4 months (dudes, like, I love you and shit...let's fuck soon 'k?), my lovely girlfriend for being lovely and cooking the shit out of food right now (what up, girl, er, woman, er, slave...whatever you prefer...all the same), music for filling my ears with joy and inspiring me to be so judgemental (I LOVE judgemental-ness...always great for open conversation- come approach me, please, I DARE you- thanks music! you've made me a great asshole!), for the ability to laugh at myself, for the ability to be incomprehensibly sarcastic- as in barely making sense (otherwise, I wouldn't be funny AT ALL), and for the fam (last but not least, of course- I love fam and miss them this thanksday).
So do me a favor and get all thankful on that ass today and drink a beer or two for god's sake...your thankfulness will increase by, like, ten fold or something. And if you find yourself in a conversational standstill, just make an announcement about how ridiculous it is that Jill and I find it imperative to eat Tofurkey for thanksgiving instead of following one of the most popular traditions in American history. We'll see how it goes.
