well, I have to say I did miss a few people after this weekend and it makes me excited to make it home in three weeks. The record store is a mad house now, since "black friday." New stupid, fashionable media term...even grandma threw out that term at thanksgiving. But I do miss all the shit that comes with the holidays, good or bad.
I bought Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind last week. Such a good movie and still amazing after watching it for a third time. Easily Jim Carrey's best performance, and I was able to concentrate on that a little more the second and third time around. The first time I saw it, the visual effects really stuck out and I wasn't really as focused on the acting as much. I have to agree with Nick here, the beach house scene at the end is just heartbreaking. Such a hard place to go back to for a couple like that under any circumstances after a breakup.
couple of links- this band has a couple of perfect songs for you to check out- try "Anyone," or "Scars." And congrats to these guys. I can't believe it took this long. Lastly, I finally joined friendster and I'm already officially bored...it's like high school all over again! At least with myspace you can have bands on there and use it for networking and keeping up with old friends that are in bands, friends you've met on tour.
