the never ending caption

__2004-12-02 @ 12:12 a.m._______ Well, I'm in the middle of a pretty busy week of work at both places. I'm beginning a slow process of what some would call a "promotion" at Soundflavor, from music analyst to editor (which is what I was originally suppose to intern as). The strange thing about this "promotion," is that I'm not getting a raise "until a notice in the very near future." In other words, "we don't have a clue when you'll be getting a raise, all we can get you is more hours." That's fine. As strange as it may seem, I'm ok with that. I like both of my jobs and having to quit one of them isn't something I'm ready for. <>insert transition<> Adam just sent me some pics from he and kathleen's visit. That was such a fun visit guys! We really did a lot now that I look back on it. Here's one of my favorite pics. Now, you might be saying to yourself "that's a really normal picture to think of as exceptional." But, if I could put a caption below I would have it say "Tourists are lost in the forest. Boy won't ask for directions or look at a map as pride swallows him whole and has now given up and girl is taking responsibility while saying 'he doesn't know shit...dumb ass boy, I'll show him a thing or two! Watch me kick this map's ass!" Now, don't get the wrong idea...we weren't lost or anything we were actually taking a break after hiking uphill for what seemed like 20 miles and checking the map for a different trail. The inevitable is coming- the end of the year...music snob...think high fidelity...think overdone...think self-indulgent...think predictable...and that's exactly what you'll get. << | >>
