I almost had a day off, and then...not so much:)

__2004-10-14 @ 11:46 a.m._______ I almost had my first day off in over a month...but then the record store called and wanted to know if I would come in for a couple of hours to do some inventory and I was like "fuck it, why not." Doughboy was absent and that's always a good sign- not to see his fuck face is like having a good day all in itself...did I ever mention how bad he smells? How can someone smell that bad without actually crawling out of dumpster? In other news, it looks like the Nolan boys will be getting together for a show or two granted we can find some venues to host. Such good news! I'm really looking forward to playing with those fellas again, I miss them dearly! And I have some new songs to work on that we'll hopefully get to practice or something. The last thing I need to figure out for the holidays is how I'm going to work in one of these farewell Guided By Voices shows into my schedule- don't give me the bullshit about how they're sold out and all that...I need to devise a plan to get myself into the Metro on either Dec. 30th or 31st. Maybe Chad can get Nolan on the bill for one of those shows right? Chad, work the angle, pronto! Ok then, now that we got that squared away, the end of my broke assness is coming to a close very soon. My internship is coming to a close and now I will get paid a modest wage for tagging tracks. Getting PAID for working two jobs is fun- only getting paid for one job is NOT fun and thank god we almost have that out of the way. Oh, and what's up with the Daily Show this week? Three old, old shows in a row during the hot political season? WTF? JP, nice pet peeves list...I totally agree with about the dream referencing bit...I fucking hate dreams! Don't tell me about your fucking dreams unless they have a point involving ME! Actually, I would prefer it if people would just not talk to me unless it has to do with ME!
