May the snobbery lead to worthiness

__2004-08-17 @ 9:46 p.m._______

I have a cool job! Too bad it doesn't pay all that well! I am now an official music snob, working at a record store in Berkeley. It should be cool, but most importantly, I'll get some kind of income and I should meet some cool people. Here's the site to see where I will be working- picture me as I run outside chasing some punk as he/she steals some used limited edition lps and seven inches, only to find out that the music stolen was some really cool shit- later I befriend the person and start a band with 'em and frequently walk by the former place of employment laughing about what a shitty place it is and what a cool story it would be when we become famous...yada yada yada. I'm clearly still going to look for a better job but, in the meantime, this should suffice.

Let me make an announcement- I've been calling my friends lately and just kind of "chatting," and really just kind of making small updates among them...basically, I just call to talk and not for any real particular piece of info. I don't have any friends out here yet and I still love my old friends in the Midwest (and I don't plan on that fading anytime soon or in the future for that matter), so at this point I just ask you to bear with me. I might call you and just want to "chat," at 11pm, waking you up and all of that jazz. My minutes still don't start until 9pm Pacific. In advance, thank you.
