Berkeley CA- new things or unique things to mention. rarely used heaters during all times of the year, no air conditioners, lots of fog, diversity of all kinds, bays, lakes, hotels converted into apartment buildings, hotel rooms as apartments yet not converted into apartments but for rent, craigslist rules the bay area, no sports bars, no "booty," bars, more ristorantes than you can shake a stick at, UC Berkeley campus, the various cool parts of Berkeley/Oakland, insignificance of weather, and the pacific time zone.
